Farm Fresh

oil on linen on panel 5x7 sold
This small work was the result of watching other artistry. While at the Farmers market in State college, we happened upon a young woman and her husband selling flowers from her farm. But they weren't placed slapdashed into a container like at the other vendors. She was masterfully chatting away and creating bouquets regaling the customer with stories of the farm or in our case answering questions about the myriad varieties availabe. I selected the flowers , she designed the arrangement. They were enjoyed with fine food and wine , then painted.
