Portrait in Pastel:Market Woman


I am into many unfinished faces in paint, so, while waiting for some to dry, I thought I would play with my pastels again. I chose the harder sticks and picked complements of olive and magenta plus  a soft white to finish. My subject came from James Parker's Windows to the Words art blog. 
I really enjoy drawing and painting people so this challenge was irresistable.
