Horses Grazing oil painting

Grazing©2010C.L.Burgess 8 x 16 oil on linen $385 framed

Another work in my 'Recent Works" show this Sunday eve. These horses reside in the Charlottesville, VA wine country. Again the light on the white horse struck my fancy. And I have always thought the horse a magnificent creature, never having the opportunity to paint them. So, I took a zoom lens to capture a few here and there and did my own composite.
I have ridden a couple of times, tenderly and cautiously. Brooklyn girl doing the Annie Oakley thing in her head is one thing. Seeing them up close and sitting on them, quite another!:-)
Have a wonderful weekend my friends.
