Upcoming Plein Air Workshop October 23 2010

After recovering from a brief illness and this hot summer, painting almost exclusively, still life, in my studio for an upcoming show, my husband and I took to the highway to see friends and the grandchildren out west.
I am spending this month in Colorado and New Mexico painting outside in preparation for  the Paint Out workshop in North Carolina with my friend Charles Philip Brooks and another outstanding artist Adam Miller. This is one of my small Colorado paintings that will be used for the postcard promotion. If any of you would like to join us, see the press release below.
I would love to see you!

His teaching studio, in cooperation with the Imperial Centre for the Arts and Sciences, offers a two year atelier-style program in traditional painting, with a special emphasis on plein-air painting.
