Pansies by Virginia Fine Artist Cathyann Burgess

Pansies in Shifting Light©2012 C.L.Burgess 6x8 oil on panel

Within the right light, possibilities are endless. Spent some contemplative time with some pansies today.
So tender and fragile.

Lovely painting Cathyann! I like how you made the center one the start with the rest being supporting players.

I like that the pansy is the star of your painting. Nice brickwork and shadows on the vase.

I'm envious that you still have pansies. Our leaves are falling like rain here, the time for flowers is long gone.
Lovely painting!

Hi my friends,
Thanks for visiting. Patricia, these are hardy flowers, the winter kind. I love that they give a burst of color this time of year apart from the omnipresent mums.
Our leaves are just turning and falling.

Dana, Carol yes..center stage for the purple white one.
