My camellias were in full bloom before this blast of cold came through Virginia. Did a small plein air sketch in oil on wood. Too delicate to remove, this flower needs to painted while still on the larger bush.

What beautiful pinks in this flower. It makes me happy. Considering we are waiting for snowmaggedon here, it's nice to see a beautiful flower.
