Making a splash #7 "Heady" by Cathyann Burgess

Heady©2014C.L.Burgess 6x6 watercolor

Prior to the last post of the peacock, I played around with different poses on smaller paper. This is one of them.
I like trying different techniques. This has alcohol, gouache and splatter on it.

On to more discoveries with my watercolor paintings.
I may have to give the gallery more this week. Practice makes perfect and I am finding I like my looser efforts more than the deliberate ones. There is something to the sense of play that is energizing to a painting.
