Cold sky painting: January Hills

Cold today.... very cold I never thought that one day I could just decide to do away with a painting that I once thought not so bad. Not so bad doesn't cut it anymore. It has to be strong for it to escape the shelf in my studio nowadays. Design, shape and color have to say strong to me. Today's painting came from the destruction of an old snow painting from two years ago, I thought rather wishy washy with my newer eyes. Do you do that too? There is great satisfaction in the knowing that the old gave birth to a new stronger piece.
